IKEA DO-ABLES: Lätt ljus

Lamp skeleton

Lätt ljus is Swedish for "easy light". Laser-cut baltic birch forms the skeleton of a lamp that the end-users can finish themselves based on their own preferences, taking advantage of locally-available materials. An experiment on co-creation, IKEA doables aims to involve the end-users in the production of goods and encouraging them to play a more active role in the life cycle of their products.
